Scoot safely

Equipment
You must wear the helmet provided by ONE UP TOUR.
You must wear closed flat shoes such as trainers or sneakers.

Follow the marked routes: never stray from your route.

Follow the highway code
Users of electric scooters must comply with the highway code, just like drivers of any other vehicle. The electric scooters can be used on cycle paths and footpaths and are approved for use on roads at speeds of under 50 km/h (31 mph).
Set your foot on the ground at crossroads and stop signs so you can check that nothing is coming.

The maximum authorised speed is 25 km/h (15 mph).

Behaviour
Please respect the environment: do not litter, whether you are on the road or out in the countryside. We would also like to request that you show respect for pedestrians when travelling through villages, or indeed anyone else you might meet. A smile and a friendly “Bonjour!” will brighten everyone’s day.
To stay safe on your Adventure, do not overestimate your ability to control the scooter. Please be careful and make sure you follow the GPS route: you’ll enjoy it so much more. Easy does it!

Take your time. Set your foot on the ground when going up or down slopes if you need to.

We have allotted plenty of time for your Adventure. There’s no need to rush: you can take photos, chat and admire the countryside.

Don’t forget that electric scooters are silent. For everyone’s safety, use your bell wisely!
